Pavel Tomeš

Pavel is a publicist, stand-up comedian, and copywriter currently living in Brno, Czech Republic. Previously, he worked as an editor for the daily and weekly Seven, which were based on his sketches.

In 2010, he published his first collection of short essays “Slaps from Mars,” which “Originally dealt with some urgent issues of today and that of his father in law.” In 2012, his book of short essays followed the story of a small tyrannosaur. His essays regularly appear on the screen and are part of Czech television culture in the region.

Pavel performs regular standup shows at The Stands and NaMikrofon.
